The Story

To offer singularity, identity, and radiance to an everyday object that we use without specific attention. This is our art craftsman bias through this luxury pure brass door handle creation. First by sight, the drawing combining harmoniously pure lines and curves, and the warm and luxurious reflections of the brass. Through touch secondly, the shape of the door handle providing a subtle curve on its inferior part that offers a perfect positioning of the thumb when you grip it.

The Craftsmanship

After having prepared the wooden model identical to the product's shape, it is set in a steel container and half filled with sand mix. When the sand has solidified, the craftsman has the half shape enabling him to realize the complete mold of the creation by making a hollow. Then he pours molten brass into the mold, that gives birth to the gross creation. The product is removed when it sets, and still has to be cleaned from the sand, shaped on a lathe, polished and finished as desired.
